A$AP Rocky has officially released Don’t Be Dumb, his fourth studio album and first full-length project in eight years. The album arrives via A$AP Worldwide and RCA Records following months of anticipation and record-setting fan demand. Before release day, Don’t Be Dumb moved over 130,000 vinyl copies and became the most pre-saved rap album on Spotify, passing one million saves. That level of engagement reflects how closely fans have been watching Rocky’s return to albums. The rollout focused on limited editions, visuals, and carefully placed singles rather than constant drops.
The album includes a wide range of collaborators such as Brent Faiyaz, Tyler, The Creator, Thundercat, Westside Gunn, Doechii, Gorillaz, and Danny Elfman. Tracks like “Punk Rocky” and “Helicopter” introduced the project with sharp visual concepts and a playful edge. “Punk Rocky” featured Elfman and Thundercat on screen, reinforcing the album’s theatrical tone. Critics highlighted the single’s surreal humor and creative direction ahead of release. These early records framed the album as deliberate and experimental rather than rushed.
The cover art was created in collaboration with filmmaker Tim Burton and presents six alter-egos tied to different phases of Rocky’s career. Characters like GR1M, BABUSHKA BOI, and MR. MAYERS appear as part of a broader visual universe surrounding Don’t Be Dumb. Limited vinyl pressings with Quince and Bilt extended the project into design and physical collectibles. The album follows a major year for Rocky that included co-chairing the 2025 Met Gala, acting roles in A24 films, and new creative partnerships with Ray-Ban and Chanel. Don’t Be Dumb positions itself as a focused statement after years of selective releases.
