The Heart of Glass is the alias of singer-songwriter and producer Justin Daxt Bobbs. Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, Justin’s unique blend of west coast and alternative hip hop, r&b, and indie music has allowed him to create music professionally since 2016. Justin is also the co-founder of the music label Illa Propper Music Group. Justin’s recent release “ALYSSUM (demo)” comes off of the heals of his long awaited 2023 mixtape “I Wrote This in the Escape of Things”. The single, which speaks deeply into the excitement and passion of a newly found love and intimacy, is a newly explored sound for the musician, stripping bear his usual dense instrumentation and explosive rap vocals for a more soft and gentle soundscape, leaving room for his unique singing voice to shine through.
