LB199X has unleashed his newest LP, Stigma, for the world to digest. The 11-track project is an adventure into the mind of the multi-faceted Maryland-bred lyricist. His album is as complex as the thoughts stemming from a Black man's experiences in America. With "Leaders" and "It Ain't Safe" serving as preliminary singles ahead of the project, fans were waiting for a full-length effort from the conscious song creator. After the success of his SOFAR Sounds tour, he is in the perfect position to unload new art for his fast-growing fanbase.

LB199X on Stigma: “Stigma is a project about vulnerability. It is the soundtrack to facing your truths. I made Stigma as a reminder to love myself and to show the world who I am”

The album starts with an exciting record entitled "Chess Not Checkers," which helps set the stage for what will come from the rest of the project. The Kendrick Lamar-inspired rapper uses the fourth track to highlight "Black Women" on his ultra-vulnerable Zyah Belle-assisted record. Shortly after, you hear LB199X "Breathe" on track six with Hydra. Soon after that, the album climaxes with a fantastic collaboration between LB199X and Sylvan LaCue. "Don't Test Me" is the project's focus track. He also has a feature from a frequent collaborator of Babyface Ray, Samuel Shabazz. The Detroit native paired well with LB199X's impressive flows. Stigma is by far L.B.'s most remarkable body of work. As he matures as a creator, he finds ways to dig deeper and deliver a new side of himself with each new verse.
