The short debut EP, Quarantine Fuel, is a small taste of Save the West’s sound—catchy beats with a relatable lyrical flow that demands a second listen. The times of quarantine have been different for everyone, resulting in bouts of depression, exhaustion, and small quantities of human contact, but Quarantine Fuel offers a glimmer of light and hope.
The songs are about “times that hardened us and made us stronger people and while there are high points, 2020 also came with some very low moments and whenever we felt that stuff we sat down and made a song about it,” Ryan says.
