Mikhail Stukov

Mikhail Stukov: What has been the key to your success?

Ameer: The key to my success this far and forever more is faith and confidence. A mans faith in himself is a reflection of his faith in God. Which gives you a special kind of spiritual confidence, what is for you is for you and no man, woman, child, radio station, exec, label etc. can stop that.

Mikhail Stukov: When it comes to your lyrics, what motivates/inspires you?

Ameer: My biggest pool of motivation is simply life itself and the experiences in between. It ranges from barber shop conversations, school, women, love, hate, life and death. I feel like my music is constantly writing itself each second of the day...lol...even when no pen or phone is in hand. The lyrics come from everything we all see and don't see.

Mikhail Stukov: Favorite movie ? and why ?

Ameer: My favorite movie.....hmmmm...See this is tricky because my I break this shit down by hood flicks and hollywood shit...my favorite hood flick is "Belly" it was just so close to the reality of a nigga moving like that, I gravitated to it on another level. The cinematography was great and the story was so close to home. However, my favorite hollywood joint is "ALI" Will Smith did the damn thing in that flick. I like autobiographical movies they always give me inspiration. Plus Ali was that guy, what can we say...lol

Mikhail Stukov: Who are some of your favourite artists right now?

Ameer: Right now my favorite artists are in no particular order: Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, Pusha-T,D.O.X.,Sonny Brew, 2 Chainz, N.E.R.D. to name a few I can go on but right now these are the people I listen to regularly but my favorites always changing...lol
Mikhail Stukov: What do you consider your biggest accomplishment?

Ameer: My biggest accomplishment I don't feel I have reached yet, but I have made some accomplishments that I am proud of in my life. Being true to myself is the biggest accomplishment anyone can make, so if that's the case so be it...A diplomatic answer would be to standard for me...I wanna modify the way people think about our culture and raise the bar in the process.

Mikhail Stukov: What is your ideal musical future?

Ameer: My ideal musical future would be to become a cornerstone in the music itself, a pioneer, businessman, critical thinker and tastemaker. To have a company that is fair and just teaching artists how to maintain themselves in this climate of entertainment and make a honest living.

Mikhail Stukov: Please tell me about your new tape. What can we expect from this project?

Ameer: My new tape is about my views of growing up in "America" and what I saw through my eyes and what I heard through my ears. I was going through the true, the good, the beautiful in my life and the lives of others around me. You can expect a heartfelt, truthful look into my mind over carefully picked production to support my thoughts. You can expect AMEERica.

Mikhail Stukov: Thank you very much for your time Ameer. Anything else you want to add?

Ameer: I hope you all enjoy it and God willing more is on the way. Be true. Be good. Be beautiful.
