A$AP Rocky returns with “Punk Rocky,” his first official release from the upcoming album DON’T BE DUMB. The new track arrives as his first solo drop tied to the project, scheduled for release on January 16 via A$AP Worldwide and RCA Records. Built on a raw and stripped-back approach, the song leans into a darker, indie-leaning sound that feels intentionally rough around the edges.

“Punk Rocky” was written by Rakim Mayers alongside Cristoforo Donadi, Adam King Feeney, and Zach Fogarty. The record sets the mood for what listeners can expect from DON’T BE DUMB, an album that marks Rocky’s first full-length release in eight years. Its tone reflects a deliberate shift, focusing on attitude, texture, and controlled chaos rather than polish.

The video expands the concept even further, featuring appearances from Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat, and A$AP Nast. Directed by Rocky with Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks, the visual brings several of his alter egos to life. With cover art created by Tim Burton and a packed creative year behind him, this rollout signals a carefully planned return built on vision and identity.
