After spending most of 2022 on the road, Detroit street rap legend G.T. (@callmegt) tags QC's Icewear Vezzo, Curren$y, Babyface Ray, Larry June, and more on his newest LP, Money Counter Music Vol. 2: Born In It. The 16-track album offers an in-depth look into the mind of the storied MC. As always, G.T.'s album is full of impeccable production, poignant lyricism, and wisdom that no one else can provide quite like him.

G.T. is a real-life rapper. He doesn't discuss anything in his music he has not been through on his own. MCM Vol. 2 clocks in right under 40 minutes. After gaining steam with singles like "Butter Knife" and "Without It," G.T. is happy to deliver a whole body of work to his fast-growing fan base. He is loved across the industry for his authenticity, love for cars, and impressive jewelry collection. Tracks like "Motion Gang/Wavy Gang" and "The Vet" show a highly polished version of the Motor City MC. His growth as a writer is on full display in his newest release.

As the year ends, G.T. wants to stake his claim as a Top 5 artist from his bubbling region. The Mid-West has been on a solid wave, with artists coming out of Chicago, Flint, and Detroit for the past few years. G.T. is proving that no matter who comes up, he will remain strong and represent everyone who respects hard work and street principles.
