HENCITY is a Dominican-American artist, producer, and songwriter born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. His musical journey began at the age of 5 when he took music lessons. He fell in love with the piano and other percussion instruments and singing.
As Hencity evolved, his true passion became creating and producing his sound. Starting his career in NJ/NY, he produced and wrote for many independents artists. He is now embarking on a new creative journey exploring his voice and sound. His storytelling takes the listeners on an emotional roller coaster with melodies over hard-hitting hip-hop beats. His serenading is reminiscent of his vulnerable side as he sits in his cool and calm demeanor.
After deciding to pursue his career as an artist, he brought his talents to the beautiful city of Miami. HENCITY would frequently visit family who had relocated from Jersey City to Miami throughout his childhood, making it his second home. He grew to love the city for its beautiful scenery, weather, art, culture, vibes, and people. He expresses his love and connection to the town in his new single "305." After living in Miami for a year, it's only right that HENCITY makes his way into the industry by paying homage to his new home, the 305.
