For starters, I would like to know if you're ready for the interview, and indeed, in what mood you are in at the moment?

Chaboki:
Yea, I'm ready for the interview. I'm in a good mood. I try to always stay positive.

Can you introduce yourself? Where you come from and where does your name come from, Chaboki - an alias or real name?

Chaboki: What's up! I'm Chaboki I'm a artist from Chicago. I was actually born in Toronto but I lived in Chicago for most of my life. While I was growing up I spent my summers in Toronto.

Explain to your listeners the way you make music? This drill, trap, cloud? maybe you would call your style something different?

Chaboki: I'm actually in the studio now. I really try and let the song make itself. I find a beat that I feel good about and I try to let everything flow out naturally. I don't consider myself a drill artist because I feel like I'm more versatile than that.

When did you first become interested in hip-hop? What motivated you to create music?

Chaboki: I started making music in 6th grade. I just liked how I could influence people with my music and I like the bond it created between the listener and musician.

What do you think about the current music industry? Do you have any ideas you could share with aspiring performers? What would you advise them?

Chaboki: I feel like the industry is a really filled with a lot of talent right now. If you're an aspiring musician just make sure everything is coming from your heart because if it's not natural, if you don't stay true to yourself you will be called out. Find yourself in your music.

Among the rappers you have your own favorite, who are you to their liking?

Chaboki: Drake is really my favorite artist out right now.

You were one of the good friends of L'A Capone, what would you say about it?

Chaboki: It's sad that we lost such a good person and a great talent.

Who of those you have already worked with who would you like to try and do it again producers would you like to deal with?

Chaboki: I'd like to work with JB BINLADEN some more. We haven't made any new music in a while but every time we go to the studio together it's a good time. As far as producers I really like working with 12MillionGlo. That's my brother aside from the music so when we make music is all natural and it comes out good every time.

Okay, let's move to questions about your work personally. What can you say about your previous mixtape (Boki Bandz 2: The Aftermath), and about the upcoming Boki Bandz 3: The Rebirth?

Chaboki: I think Boki Bandz and Boki Bandz 2: The Aftermath were both successes. I really like the production and the artists that was on the tapes. As far as Boki Bandz 3: The Rebirth you're gonna notice the whole feel of it will be different. It's a project I'm definitely going to be proud of.

In August of this year appeared the information that you, allegedly, was caught trying to steal $40,000 from many famous Chicago rapper Chief Keef? What can you say about this?

Chaboki: That's just a rumor. I never stole any money from Chief Keef. Don't believe everything you hear online!

You've a lot of haters, what is the reason you think?

Chaboki: People are going to hate no matter what. Haters are fans in disguise.

So you can pass on to your listeners? Including foreign ones, for example, fans from Russia.

Chaboki: I appreciate everybody's support I really do get inspired by my fans. They push me to do better. As far as my over seas fans, I'm really happy you guys are on board with the movement and j hope I get to come out there soon for a show!
